Australian Bush fire

Australian bushfires is declared as a national crisis :---
--------------------------------------------------

Since , September Australia is experiencing several incident of forest fires in kangaroo Island, koala, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia,Tasmania,Western Australia, Victoria.

Australia has two types types of vegetation 1)  hilly and mountaineous region has alpine forest 2) flat or scrubland . Here the Flora is diverse with tree grass .

Causes
Bushfires in Australia is caused by both natural and manmade factors such as lightening, cyclonic storms, heat waves, Each year there is a fire season during the Australian summer, with hot, dry weather making it easy for blazes to start and spread. Strong winds , dry soils, heat waves raise temperature  40 degree Celsius. Dry lightning was responsible for starting a number of fires in Victoria's East Gippsland region in late December, which then traveled more than 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) in just five hours, Strong winds have also made the fires and smoke spread more rapidly, and have led to fatalities , indegeneous tribes,  ciggerrates, campfires, electric shocks, etc.,
Fires can start in a number of ways -- from carelessly discarded cigarettes to lightning strikes and arson -- but they're fueled by a dizzying amount of factors. A lack of rain and low soil moisture can help enable small fires to grow in size, and coupled with the high temperatures and fierce winds that Australia has experienced in the last few months, these small fires can become huge infernos. In addition, with the fire season getting longer, the window to perform critical hazard reduction burns has decreased, giving fires  to really take hold.
Bushfires aren't started by climate change, but they are exacerbated by the effects of global warming. The Climate Council, an independent, community-funded climate organization, suggests bushfire conditions are now more dangerous than they were in the past, with longer bushfire seasons, drought, drier fuels and soils and record-breaking heat. The link between bushfires and climate change has become a political football, but experts agree climate change explains the unprecedented nature of the current crisis.

Impacts :
Burning of houses, wildlife loss, life and property loss, electricity failures, triggering blackouts, pyrocumulonimbus clouds, smoke plumes, economic loss, biodiversity loss, skies becomes smoky, cost of Fire management accelerated, air quality becomes poor poses threat to health issues, many flees out of homes in fear , carbon di oxide emissions ,

Measures :
A number of organizations and volunteer services are aiding in the firefighting and recovery efforts for affected communities. Whether you want to help the firefighting organizations, wildlife or just provide somewhere to sleep, you can find a ton of handy links and information below:

Australia's Red Cross Disaster relief and recovery fund helps support evacuation centers and recovery programs for the affected communities

The NSW Rural Fire Service has a donation page to support the firefighting efforts in New South Wales

The Country Fire Authority is the state of Victoria's rural firefighting service and you can donate directly here.

The Country Fire Service in South Australia also takes direct donations.

To help support firefighters in the state of Queensland, you can donate to the Rural Fire Brigades Association via their webpage.

The Salvation Army has a disaster appeal donations page set up to deliver support to local communities affected by the blazes.

The Victorian Bushfire Appeal is where state premier Daniel Andrews is suggesting to donate. The appeal directs money to communities in need, giving directly to those affected by the fires.

Raise awareness! You can tweet and share and post this story -- and dozens of others -- all across the web. More eyeballs = more help.

Foodbank is taking donations to help people in need during the crisis. You can donate at its website to the Victorian relief effort, which helps get relief for communities cut off from power.

Australian Bush fire analysis by climatic model :--
=============================
A study carried by climatic computer model says that if global temperature rise by 2 degree Celsius then Bush Fire incident more likely to increase by 8 times.  Which leads to loss of lives, houses are destroyed, wild animals are threatened and push to extinctions, and environmental degradation.

The bushfire study used the computer models to look at a metric called the Fire Weather Index, which is one way to predict the severity of fires by combining wind speed, relative humidity, temperature, drought and the flammability of the fuel. The index is widely used across the world to forecast dangerous wildfire conditions.

The models found the probability of the index reaching levels seen during Australia’s bushfires had increased due to human-caused climate change by 30%.

The new records had been set for high Forest Fire Danger Index in all states and territories throughout the 2019 spring.

Looking only at observations, the scientists found the chances of Australia experiencing Fire Weather Index ratings as high as 2019 had already risen by “more than a factor of four” since 1900.

Fire weather is a very complex thing to simulate.

“Combined with everything about this event being unprecedented, its extremely challenging for climate models to simulate everything about fire weather perfectly.

“Australia just just experienced its worst bushfire season on record, overlapping our warmest and driest year on record. We know climate change has a role in increasing temperatures, which is a component in bushfire weather.”
